La relazione tra uomo e narrazione è molto stretta e affonda le sue radici nelle basi biologiche e nei processi neurologici più profondi del cervello. In particolare, la fiaba si configura come un genere cognitivamente connaturato, in grado di corrispondere alle esigenze e alle strutture della mente umana. Questa convergenza tra l’architettura testuale del fiabesco e le strutture cognitive può, almeno in parte, spiegare il carattere di universalità del genere e la sua diffusione come dispositivo mnemonico, in grado di convogliare significati individuali e collettivi, e come ‘microsceneggiatura’ utile per agire nel mondo reale.Riferimenti bibliografici
